1.) Choosing a date for the Spring Break Club Crawl
All the clubs looked through our weekend calendars and came up wth the 2 best days to hold an event. The Spring Break Club Crawl will be Saturday March 21 & Sunday March 22, 2009.

We need an additional club to take the 12-2PM Saturday. Revan will talk to Alex12 Cub of Aussie Boys, also it was thought DJ InsyX of Club Aqua, or Mirah's Cafe could take that spot.
It can be promoted to other clubs that we are keeping our events during the day to ensure they can have their events at night.
2.) Advertising & Promotion
*Dyann is almost done the SL Club Network Logo.
*Jonathon B. showed the 2009 Second Pride logo which is a 3D globe similar to what we were talking about as a logo at our last meeting
*Jon Schenkel to contact Jordyn Carnell about posting Club Crawl to the "What would JordyN Do" Blog & Events schedule.
*Before the event clubs will send out notices to their groups.
Discussion regarding tour shirts, freebies & give aways for each venue. Tabled until next meeting. Dyann to work with Jon Beattie about a tour shirt

1. IMPORTANT WORK for Club Owners/Managers:
By next meeting submit to Jonathon Beattie a weekly calendar of ongoing events (title/theme & times) as well as any special future events you have booked. It is also helpful to include notes on any upcoming major RL commitments so we can plan the Club Crawl to fit as many people's schedules as possible. Send to Jonathan Beattie in world through a notecard OR e-mail jonathanbeattiesl(at)gmail(dot)com
2. Mission of SL Club Network (brainstorm)
Slurpngo suggested that participating SL Club Network clubs work together and share event calendars so events aren't dupicated / times in the day are shared. We went on to discuss "prime time" for club venues and it is inevitable that club events will overlap. It was also discussed that the SL Club Network can host events / be involved with SL Pride (which will be held May 23 - 30)
3. More information on the event:
-It was decided that the event of moving from club to club over 1 - 2 days would be called a "Club Crawl"
-There would be no individual themes for each venue - it is a "Come as you are" event
-The theme & Timeline for the event would be SL Spring Break. This would also allow additional promotion for any "spring Break" events clubs were holding during the week following the Club Crawl
- Janeforyou Barbara Owner of 5 sims would like to bring her club "The Oasis" on board with the SL Club Network, and offer The Oases as a venue for the event.
-Mirah suggests we increase each club set from 90 minutes to 2 hours
-The On-going discussion of DJ streams for the event was started -It was decided a working group will discuss the details, benefits & drawbacks of DJ streams for the event. MattKR, Jonathon B, and with support of Mirah will work out some suggestions on DJ streams (renting our own vs. using the DJ stream & technical considerations) and bring the information to a future meeting for a final decision. -
The teleport prim for clubs during the event can be a globe or our Logo
-As soon as dates / times / & order of venues is confirmed Jonathon Beattie will create the club "tour" shirt

1.) Purpose:
TerryBear Magic proposed a "Pub Crawl" style event where participating clubs would provde a DJ & entertainment for a set which is part of a larger event.

3.) What the event will look like
All types & genders of avatar will be welcome at all venues Each venue will provide a 90 minute event and is responsible for thier own staffing & wages Clubs will remain the same, no special decorating or changes required. Each club will have a teleport point for the next venue It will be strongly encouraged to ensure original DJ's throughout the event. New DJ's are a plus The SL Club Network will provide one stream for all venues & DJ's to use for this event (the cost of this stream will be shared equally by participating club owners) ACTION ITEM - MattKR Sassower will look into stream rentals for the event
4.) Communication: In-World
At each meeting someone will take and compile minutes to be distributed to everyone present.
ACTION ITEM - Jonathan Schenkel will coordinate a mailing list for the SL Club Network for in world communicationOut of World We will create an Online Blog for people to discuss items inbetween meetings.
ACTION ITEM - Jonathan Beattie will create an online Blog and help people to join http://slclubnetwork.blogspot.com/ is the blog Jonathon Beattie created. You need a gmail account - Contact Jon B. for information and support
At the Event We agreed that it is more beneficial for people to participate in a mailing list as opposed to an SL Group.
ACTION ITEM - Jonathan Schenkel will create joining signs for use at the venues as well as a central mailing system to keep people updated.
5.) Advertising
The SL Club network will create a logo
Each venue will display a poster for the event before the date
ACTION ITEM - Dyann McMinnar has volunteered her talents to create images & promotionClubs will encourage thier DJ's who host groups to promote the event Text for notices, IM chats, & publicity need to be created to give a consistant message from any advertising source
5.) Promotion A token can be created for the event - a suggestion was a tour shirt with all participating clubs listed on the back

[19:27] Syriana Paine: no one else can log in unless they've been given admin rights on the website to eject the current person on the stream

[19:28] Jonathan Schenkel: it's a grassroots effort, so I'm going to the right folks to make sure it's a quality project in the end
[19:29] Jonathan Schenkel: this makes me reconsider - maybe it's just easier that the DJ's deal with thier own streams
[19:29] Syriana Paine: the best way to combat that problem I've found is for the club to have a back up stream
[19:29] Syriana Paine: that also combats if a particular server goes down[
